STN Chicken Group was co-founded in 2025 by Tariq Khan and his son, Suleman Khan, building on the legacy of STN Restaurant Group. Tariq began his entrepreneurial journey after immigrating from Pakistan in 1991, eventually launching STN Restaurant Group in 2006 as a Church’s Chicken franchisee. The company grew to five locations across Central Texas, earning recognition such as the 2023 Church’s Chicken All-Star Award for operational excellence.

In 2024, after a strategic sale and restructuring, STN Restaurant Group rebranded as STN Chicken Group, bringing in new leadership and a renewed focus on high-potential markets and franchise growth. The company has remained committed to community involvement, partnering with groups like the Pakistani Association of Greater Austin, and consistently earning top ratings in Central Texas. Today, STN Chicken Group is focused on expanding its Golden Chick portfolio, guided by a clear vision for innovation, growth, and impact.
